Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects within an established exchange house in Dubai. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and overseeing the implementation of technology-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, project management methodologies, and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Develop project plans, define scope, allocate resources, and set milestones.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as IT, Compliance, Operations, and Finance to align project objectives.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and industry standards.
• Track project performance using KPIs and report progress to senior management.
• Oversee vendor management, procurement processes, and contract negotiations.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, including system upgrades and automation projects.
• Manage stakeholder communication and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify process improvements and best practices for continuous operational efficiency.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project management within financial services, banking, or exchange houses.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial transaction systems, remittance platforms, and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record of successfully managing IT and business transformation projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of fintech innovations, digital payments, and regulatory compliance in the financial sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or IT.
• Experience with digital banking, payment gateways, or blockchain technology.
• Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and Central Bank guidelines.
