Program Head

Job Summary:

The Program Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale IT programs for a leading global IT services company. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and execution capabilities to drive program success across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and clients to ensure seamless execution, alignment with business objectives, and continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement program strategies that align with business goals and client requirements.
• Lead and manage multiple IT projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Define program governance, KPIs, and performance metrics to monitor program success.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including delivery, sales, finance, and operations, to drive program execution.
• Ensure compliance with global IT standards, security regulations, and best practices.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies across projects and develop mitigation plans.
• Foster strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure seamless technology adoption and service delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization for efficient program management.
• Report program performance and insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in IT program management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience in managing large-scale IT transformation projects and enterprise solutions.
• PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications preferred.
• Proven track record in managing complex, multi-geography IT programs.
• Expertise in digital transformation, cloud computing, AI, and emerging technologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience working with global clients, ensuring service excellence and strategic alignment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in IT Managed Services, Application Development, or Cloud Solutions.
• Knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with financial management and P&L oversight for IT programs.
